…resourceful fans converted the Prince Street subway station, in SoHo, into an makeshift memorial. The photographer Jonno Rattman headed to Fort Greene, Brooklyn, to attend a block party hosted by Spike Lee, then dropped in to Questlove’s Prince-themed d.j. set at Brooklyn Bowl, in Williamsburg. The crowd members were mournful, ecstatic, eccentric, and ready to dance."
